Tractor Pull Rules |
- All tractor pull drivers must be members
- Any driver (male or female) under 16 must have a parent or guardian assist at all times while operating tractor.
- Each tractor will be given a visual safety check. Any fluid leaks or items that jeopardize safety may result in disqualification.
- All pulls must start with a tight hitch (no jerking allowed).
- Drivers are to stay in their seat during pull. Exception: Those with hand clutches may leave seat to engage clutch but return to seat in first 10 feet.
- One restart allowed if tractor does not pass (10) foot mark.
- Tractor must pull in low or second gear.
- Drivers are to watch the flagman once tractor is hooked to sled. Flagman is in control. Failure to follow his direction will result in disqualification.
- Arguing or using foul language with judges, any officials, or any track is personal grounds for disqualification. You will be asked to leave immediately.
- Sled and tractor must stay within boundaries of course or be disqualified.
- Top five tractors in the stock classes will be subject to dynamometer (i.e. must have working pto).
- Stock engines only as per model of tractor. Any tractor not appearing stock by judge is subject to disqualification. No stripping of tractor. It must appear stock.
- Two hook maximum per tractor per class. Tractor may only place once per class. Have your second driver with you at the scales. Tractors must cross scales under its own power (no towing).
- No one is allowed on track except officials.
- Judges' and officials' decisions are final ... including situations not covered in these rules, and during the LaGrange Engine Club Show.
- No alcohol before or during the pull.
- ENTRY BOOTH WILL CLOSE AT 9:30 AM.

Tractor Set-up |
- Allowed drawbar hook height to maximum of 18" from ground. A minimum of 18" from center of the axle. Hydraulic drawbar to remain at set height.
- Visible weights will be allowed on tractors designed by the manufacturer to carry wheel or bracket weights. This is not a modified tractor pull. All tractors should be as close to original as possible to coincide with the theme of our show. Note: Homemade weight brackets may be on tractor but no weights may be on them.
- Two wheel drive tractors only, with either steel or rubber tires. No duals, chains, or cut tires.
- Engine horse power and engine RPM must be within 10% of stock for its model.
- No manual overriding of the governor during pull (hand throttle only).
- The tractor pull will be run in a manner that is "fair" to all the participants, and drivers will participate in a "fair" manner.
- No shift on the go (i.e. T.A. shift

Semi Modified Classes Only |
- Homemade weight brackets with weights will be permitted.
- No more than 20% over stock idle.
- 5 mph speed limit
- May use a T.A.
- Cut tires are permitted.
- Allowed drawbar hook height to maximum of 20" from ground. A minimum of 18" from center of the axle. Hydraulic drawbar to remain at set height.
