The LaGrange Engine Club is based in Lorain County, Ohio. Our members display all types of farm equipment, including: steam traction engines, portable steam power plants, farm tractors, garden tractors, small gas engines, and more!

We also have plenty of working equipment, including a buzz saw, thresher, baler and ice cream maker. It is always fun to see how the tractors perform on the Dynamometers or Baker fan. At the Spring Warm-Up, many members give their tractors a workout with a plow.

We also have tractor pulls, with plenty of different classes and weight divisions.

Whether your piece of equipment is excellently restored or rusty and non-running, we enjoy it all! Feel free to look through the site to learn more!

Purpose
To provide for it’s members and the general public a forum for the promotion and dissemination of information concerning steam and power engines, and other antique farm and industrial related machinery, their restoration, preservation and use in our society. And to encourage participation in events that demonstrate their use as they relate to the history of farm and industrial development and growth.

Membership
Becoming a member of the LaGrange Engine Cub allows you to attend monthly meetings, gain free entry to the annual show, participate in the Club Tractor Pull, and be a part of the yearly Spring Warm-Up. At the meetings you will be able to meet your fellow members and discuss matters of the club itself.

Memberships are from September to September with no discount for less than a full year. The cost is $3.00 per year for a single membership, or $5.00 per year for a group (two person) membership.

Once you become a member and exhibit something at the show, you will receive a button and a plaque. A plaque is our thank you gift for bringing an exhibit. Displaying an exhibit at our show is the only way you can get a plaque for the current year. Stop in Building 19 during the show to register what you are exhibiting, buy a membership, or look at the merchandise we have for sale.

Merchandise
LaGrange Engine Club merchandise is available for purchase at our annual show and at our display at the Lorain County Fair. We sell hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and plaques and buttons from previous shows. Pewter belt buckles with the club logo on them are available during the annual show in September only.
